Michele Comete-Schonemann

Director of National Accounts

Michele worked and lived all over the world before finding a home at The Charleston Place. She’s been enthusiastically involved with the hospitality industry for more than 17 years, spending a dozen of them at luxury resorts and urban properties from Hawaii to Canada.

Brenna Snodgrass

Director of Travel Industry Sales

Brenna got her first taste of the hospitality industry in 1997, and has never looked back. Thanks to her wide range of hospitality experiences, from guest services and reservations to food and beverage, Brenna brings a wealth of knowledge to assist partners. Today, Brenna shares the joys of historic Charleston and The Charleston Place with travel agents everywhere.

Cathy Gregory

Director of National Accounts

Cathy, a dedicated hospitality sales professional, has a wealth of experience in luxury sales with a focus on the Lowcountry. Her passion for establishing meaningful connections has served as the foundation for lasting relationships to better serve her clients.

Ray Griffin

Director of National Accounts

With more than 30 years of experience planning corporate and association events, Ray collaborates closely with Northeast groups to plan highly rewarding meetings and large group activities.

Stacie Hansen

Events Manager

With a background in hospitality including sales, customer service and events, Stacie finds joy in connecting with her guests in an authentic way. By managing and maintaining client relationships, she focuses on creating and developing unique and impactful experiences that are memorable.

Abi Koletic

Events Manager

A graduate of the University of Alabama, Abi has been working in the hospitality industry for almost 15 years. From restaurants to events to catering, her current role allows her to focus on weddings, social events and short-term corporate meetings with pizazz.

The Conference Services Team

Tim Botto

Conference Service Manager

With nearly 30 years under his belt, Tim can turn any meeting into a standout event. Before joining the events team at Charleston Place, Tim handled group reservations, tours and conference services at Florida’s Saddlebrook Resort.

Margeaux Gwynne-Vaughan

Conference Service Manager

Margeaux has been with Charleston Place since 2004. After working on special events for more than 15 years, she joined the Conference Services team in 2019 and thrives in her role. Margeaux has planned more than 800 programs ranging in size from 10 to almost 1,000. She loves helping clients build their perfect meeting or convention, and has a special eye for the smallest details.

Janine Sundin

Conference Service Manager

Janine has been helping corporate clients plan conferences at Charleston Place for more than two decades. Her vast knowledge of the hotel, and its many luxuries, is a tremendous asset to companies planning large group events.
