Vern’s

A newly Michelin Star addition to Charleston’s culinary landscape, Vern’s blends elevated comfort food with a distinct neighborhood feel. Located on historic Broad Street, Sorelle is a locally owned Italian restaurant celebrated for its thoughtful approach to classic Italian cuisine. Recently recognized by the Michelin Guide, the restaurant offers a menu of handcrafted pastas, antipasti, and wood-fired pizzas made with exceptional ingredients and careful technique. The inviting, elegant atmosphere makes Sorelle ideal for both leisurely evenings and special occasions. Reservations can be limited, but our Concierge team is happy to assist with planning a memorable dining experience at this BHC-owned restaurant. Guests can also stop by Sorelle Mercato for freshly baked pastries and savory sandwiches to enjoy on the go. 

167 Raw

Seafood aficionados looking for a casual and lively dining experience need look no further than 167 Raw. This vibrant oyster bar is a local favorite. A short walk from The Charleston Place, this Charleston restaurant specializes in fresh and flavorful seafood. From their renowned lobster roll to their daily oyster selections, 167 Raw serves up a true taste of the sea in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. Please note, reservations are very limited but walk-in reservations are also available.  

Daniel Humm x The Charleston Place 

Chef Daniel Humm of New York’s acclaimed Eleven Madison Park brings his celebrated culinary philosophy to Charleston with a year-long residency at The Charleston Place, presented by Resy. Blending the artistry and precision of Eleven Madison Park with the flavors and traditions of the Lowcountry, the menu highlights seasonal produce, sustainable seafood, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients—alongside a selection of Chef Humm’s most iconic dishes. Reservations for dining are strongly encouraged and may be arranged through our Concierge team, while the bar welcomes walk-ins for cocktails, bar snacks, and à la carte selections.

Located across the street from The Charleston Place, FIG is a culinary gem celebrated for its commitment to seasonal and sustainable ingredients. This James Beard award-winning restaurant showcases the best of Lowcountry cuisine with a contemporary twist. With a menu that changes daily, FIG takes pride in highlighting the region’s bounty through skillfully prepared dishes. Immerse yourself in a gastronomic adventure where every plate tells a story and flavors are thoughtfully curated. Please note that reservations are very limited. 

Merci  

Charming and intimate, Merci is a French-inspired neighborhood restaurant perfect for a cozy dinner or casual date night. The menu focuses on simple, well-executed classics paired with an approachable wine list, creating a warm and welcoming experience that feels effortlessly chic.
